An LED keychain in KiCad

The brief
None. This one was mine, on a Saturday in September 2025.
What I did
Schematic capture and PCB layout of an LED keychain in KiCad — a full board design rather than a simulation or a breadboard.
The project files carry five dated backup revisions from a single day, which is a more honest record of how the work went than a tidy final file would be: place, route, look at it, dislike it, do it again.
Result
A finished board design, and the thing that makes the KiCad line on my CV real rather than aspirational. Coursework proves you can follow a brief; a board you laid out because you wanted the object to exist proves something slightly different.
Whether the board was fabricated and assembled is not recorded here. This entry claims the design, not a working physical product.
