The brief
Analyse a consumer device against the anatomy and physiology it has to work with, written as a peer-reviewed wiki.
What I did
I compared different menstrual cup designs using the physiological research behind their differences, including data on vaginal temperature, and turned the comparison into a decision flowchart for choosing between them.
I also peer-reviewed other students’ analyses of earplugs, a nipple shield and gumshields, and had my own drafts reviewed.
Result
A wiki entry with a decision flowchart that guides the reader to the most suitable cup design, based on the physiological factors behind each option. The module was graded 81.2%.
