The brief
Group coursework for Applied Tissue Engineering.
What I did
The work covered how scaffold design (its structure and chemistry) can be used to direct cell behaviour, methods for characterising cell behaviour, and immunochemical techniques.
As part of the module I also wrote an annotated analysis of Ott et al.’s work on kidney decellularisation and regeneration. That work removes the cells from an organ and uses the remaining extracellular matrix as a scaffold for new cells.
Result
Group submission completed. Module graded 82.6%.
